Job Title: Instructor

Job Description:

Be Beyond Great Tumbling Studio is seeking passionate and dedicated Tumbling, Dance and Cheer instructors to join our dynamic team. As a Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the artistic and physical development of our students across various dance disciplines, including ballet, tap, hip hop, recreational cheerleading, young tumbling, tiny tumbling and basic tumbling.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and Conduct Engaging Classes:

- Develop lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the age, skill level, and interests of the students.

- Deliver energetic and engaging dance classes, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

2. Instruct and Demonstrate Techniques:

- Teach proper dance techniques, including posture, movement, coordination, and style for respective dance forms.

- Demonstrate dance steps and movements to guide students in mastering fundamental and advanced skills.

3. Choreograph Routines:

- Create original choreography for performances, recitals, competitions, or showcases, showcasing creativity and artistry.

4. Provide Constructive Feedback:

- Offer constructive feedback to students, helping them improve and grow in their dance abilities.

- Monitor and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to support individual development.

5. Maintain a Safe and Supportive Environment:

- Foster a safe and encouraging atmosphere, prioritizing the well-being and confidence of students.

- Enforce studio rules, safety guidelines, and proper dance etiquette during classes and events.

6. Collaborate with Team Members:

- Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and organized studio environment.

- Participate in team meetings and workshops to enhance teaching techniques and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a dance instructor, preferably in ballet, tap, hip hop, recreational cheerleading, or tumbling.

- Strong knowledge and expertise in the specific dance forms being taught.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.

- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching dance and inspiring students.
